The Dessert Lab began with a stubborn idea: the after-dinner sweet you grew up with and the one you fell for later shouldn't live on opposite sides of town. So we put them on the same bench — karak chai beside Belgian-cocoa shakes, warm gulab jamun beside baked cheesecake.
